Article 50-2 (Prohibition of unauthorized collection of email addresses, etc.)

• No one shall collect email addresses using programs or other technical devices that automatically collect email addresses from websites without prior consent from the operator or administrator of the website.

• No one shall sell or disseminate email addresses collected in violation of the provisions of paragraph (1).

• No one shall use it for information transmission, knowing that it is an email address prohibited from collecting, selling, and disseminating pursuant to paragraphs (1) and (2).

 

Article 74 (Penalty) A person falling under any of the following subparagraphs shall be fined not more than KRW 10 million.

• A person who displays for the purpose of revealing or selling in violation of the provisions of Article 8 (4).

• A person who distributes, sells, rents, or displays obscene signs, texts, sounds, images, or videos in violation of Article 44-7 (1)-1.

• A person who repeatedly reaches the other party with signs, texts, sounds, images, or videos that cause fear or anxiety in violation of Article 44-7 (1)-3.

• A person who has taken technical measures in violation of the provisions of Article 50 (6).

• A person who transmits advertising information in violation of the provisions of Article 50-8 and uses email addresses for collection, sales, distribution, or information transmission in violation of the provisions of Article 50-2.

• A person who has transmitted advertising information in violation of the provisions of Article 50-8.

• A person who has not registered for change of registration or transfer, merger, or inheritance of business in violation of Article 53 (4).​
